Easy way to change ip address and surf internet anonymously

by Rich Kid on January 11, 2010

Early this morning, I tried accessing my web hosting service provider’s website – www.wwkiosk.com using my starcomms internet access without success.

Immediately, I new it is ip problem (possibly) from starcomms. So I decided to access the website using proxy server. It was a success. I was able to access the website without any problem.

I’ve used several means to access website securely and anonymously in the past. But I discover something this morning that I believe you will love. I was able to change my ip address in seconds and without any much manual configuration.

Let me explain; for some time now I’ve been using only mozilla firefox and flock browser.

There are several add-on’s like plugins you use with wordpress blog. The add ons improves the performance of firefox.

So here is what I discover this morning. I notice that there are several proxy add-on you can use with your firefox brower. You can browse internet anonymously without any problem.

And you won’t have to worry about buying any ip hiding software. I’m not saying the ip hiding softwares are not good. See, I’ve used couple of them in the past. But why should you pay when their is a free service that works.

If you already have mozilla firefox browser on your pc follow the steps bellow to change your ip and surf internet anonymously free. If you don’t have firefox, you can download it free here

How to change your ip address – step by step.

Choose from list of mozilla firefox proxy add-ons bellow:

QuickProxy

Anonymization Toolbar

SwitchProxy Tool

BrowseAtWork

gladder

Proxy Toolbar

PhProxy

FoxTor

Environment Proxy

FoxyProxy

ProxySel

httProxy

Torbutton

The one I use is SwitchProxy. You can download it here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/125
or use this direct download link:
http://randomfoo.net/junk/200803/switchproxy.xpi

It will automatically installed on your firefox and you firefox browser will restart. Then you should be able to see it on your browser.

You need to proxy to use. YOu can get free proxy from here: http://proxy-list.org/en/index.php. Once you have copy of proxy handy click on ‘Add’ button.

choose anonymous from the box as you can see in image above.

It will open another page where you can add your list of proxies you got from proxy-list.org

Put anything you want in the empty box tagged – ‘Proxy label’. Then add the proxy. After adding your list of proxy click on save.

Next, click on ‘apply button’ and start browsing website anonymously.

This is a very good information Rich Kid,
I am worried about this, why will one not able to access
the web because he is from a particular place.

Can this development help us to buy things on Clickbank
and payment with our own Credit Cards.
I use a Zenithbank websurfur’s card, I use it well without
any problem but there is one product on Paypal that is only $7,
I really wanna get it but There is not even the country Nigeria in there list.

Can I manupulate and claim Iam in the uk? or my billing address
is gonna floop everything up.

Very good indeed, but not everybody owns a pc of his/hers.

I just advise those who have their personal pc to follow the
instruction and do the right thing to their advantage.

Rich Kid January 11, 2010 at 8:42 pm

Gideon this should work with clickbank.

Rich Kid January 11, 2010 at 8:45 pm

S.O baba yes o! It will help majority of those that have their own pc. However, if you have a regular cyber cafe that you use nothing stop you. The installation period doesn’t take time. And you don’t even need to change ip address every day. So in summary it’s for all.

This is great, but my challenge is that mozilla firefox is not working on my PC. It crashes anytime I start it. I don’t know how I can resolve this without formating or reinstalling my windows.

ADAMS AMANA January 14, 2010 at 12:21 pm

thanks 4 the great articles and info on your site. about changing the ip and browsing anonymously i have tried and no site is opening and am sure i have followed ur steps properly.

Lateef Olajide January 14, 2010 at 5:39 pm

@Adamu – yes you can. Just make sure you pick ip of that specific country. http://proxy-list.org/en/index.php give’s you opportunity to choose the country.

@ Adams -, if you did follow the steps correctly then it must be the problem with ip that you are using. Remove the ip and start over again. I’ve had success using most of the ip address with port 80.
