A site does not have to have its own domain name. Most ISP’s and some otherweb hosts offer web space to clients who do not want to buy their own domainname. DownloadThe transfer of files from any other computer to your computer, including from theInternet to your computer. Every time you instruct your computer system to retrieveyour mail, you are downloading your mail to your computer. You may also downloadprograms to your computer. However, be careful about downloading files orprograms from a site in which you are not familiar. You could download a virus andnever know it until it’s too late.
DSLDigital Subscriber Line. A circuit, connecting specific locations, which supportsmoving data over regular phone lines faster than a regular phone connection. This islike, but not the same as, a leased line.
