Internet Millionaire At 17

by Dele Ajado

The article you are about to read is about a teen who lived in a one-bedroom apartment with her mom and sister. But with her computer and savvy business sense she made a better life for all of them.

As of the time her success story began her parents were divorced. She and her little sister, Shelby, were all crammed into her mother’s one-bedroom apartment. Unlike many adults, this young lady has not succumbed to the temptations that new wealth can bring. She pays herself a modest salary of $3,000 a month. Aside from the house, she hasn’t made any other major purchases.

When her first check arrived, her mother was doubtful, wondering if her daughter could really make money off a website.  But this young lady was confident, telling her mother: “No, I really trust this. I think it’s really gonna happen.”This is a story of persistence and smart thinking and it can be done even here in Nigeria.

abiodun kumoye January 16, 2008 at 5:39 pm

she has the facility at her disposal to suceed.i will explore way to be like her.

Lateef Olajide January 17, 2008 at 10:32 am

Abiodun, I don’t no what you mean by the word ‘facility’. But only thing I can tell you is that it’s 100% possible. From my own experience I don’t think she has much advantage over you and I.

We can all do it. It’s a matter of discovering other peoples need and then providing it for them.

Another thing that I will like us to note in this lady’s story is that She didn’t achieve this result overnight. It took here years.

This is a great challenge and lesson for every one of us, who never believe that all these achievements are not met for whites alone. As we all have one vote under the law, likewise we are not limited or restricted from innovating or making remarkable records right here in Africa.

It is high time we stopped backing up and celebrating other people’s success, let us make history. With God on our side, nothing is impossible to achieve. So, let’s be on the track to make impact in this our own generation.

Thanks for sharing this.

@All
Sure we can achieve this too. Despite all the hurdles we may confront. I am sure there are still thousands like that teenager over there in her country who are silently struggling to make a difference. We don’t know about them now, because it is not yet their time of harvest.

Nigeria is yet confronted with all sort of infrastructural problems. However, a day will come when all that will become history. But we don’t have to wait. Because when the good days come around, those that have been working and waiting will be better off. Shalom!

This is another mind boggling achievement of a teenager; it’s a great challenge for me to braise up this year. If that little girl could make it, I too can and it shall so for me this year with God on mt side.

This is an amazing success story,it really shows that no matter the situation we might find ourselves,we can make it through tick and torns.Tough ttimes never last only tough people do.

Its high we challenged ourselves that anybody can be a story to be shared if we determine to make the necessary sacrifices of success.

I am personally challenged and determined to make it in life,my advice for all is determination and focus.
