Today’s lesson will be very brief. It’s going to be simple as well. Now, don’t underestimate the importance to growth of your website. If you do it right – you can start seeing result in just few hours.
What am I talking about?
It is forum marketing.
Online forum is where people of same interest, hobbie,skills, or profession meet to discuss and share with each other. Most often it’s the first place member visit whenever suggestion or advice is need about his area of interest.
You gain lots of good quality traffic and subscribers by actively participating in online forum. It is not hard to do. If you can pay attention to forum member’s needs you are very close to gaining their attention.
It’s just like in politics. The Godfathers are those that have large followers already. They somehow gain trust of this people. When it’s election time they can easily lead to where they want, even at last hour.
You can do same thing online.
First search google for at least 10 active forums in your market. You can also search forum directories like www.big-boards.com. If you’ve been actively following big bang lessons you must be having good numbers of active forums that you visits already.
Sign up with the forum of your choice.
Create profile. When creating profile take note of sig.file column. Create sig file. In case you don’t know signature file is few promotion lines that follows every post you make. It is not difficult to create. Just write a line or two about what they can get on from your website e.g 7 insider secret of……… visit: www………
Now make sure that everyday from today you make sure you respond to at least 5 to 10 post in each of the 10 forum. If you are one or second person to respond you can get better exposure.
For maximum exposure make sure you start a new thread yourself. Your post can be collection of something good that you come across online that will be interesting to your audience. It may even be about what you read in the news about your market. Google alert, other blog website and news feeds will help here.
Possible results.
If your thread or thread you participate in gets 200 to 500 views. 10 of that will give us 2000 to 5000 views. Now if your post is helpful and if your sig file is catchy, many people will end up on your site.
Do this today. And also put it on your daily to do list. We will surely explore other ways to tap into forum opportunity in future.
