It doesn’t stop there. Marketers are expected to will be spending over $2billion on affiliate marketing according to news from Jupiter Research. Affiliate marketing no doubt is a very powerful marketing tool. Marketers (merchants) only pay for result.
There are several affiliate marketing types. But most preferred by many marketers are pay per sale (CPS – cost per sale as in www.clickbank.com) and pay per lead (CPA – cost per acquisition as in cj, linkshare etc)
Now as an internet marketer and affiliate marketer to be specific what does this figures means to you?
If you have a website (preferably blog site) and you are able to get good contents that people in your market loves. The content that makes them come – back often. Osinubi, first most important thing is knowledge. Learn know-how. There are several ways you can learn. You can learn free on website like this and other free internet marketing information websites and forums available online.
But it may be a long learning way because most often the information are in piece-meal.
You may need somebody to help you put it all together. In that case attending seminar may be solution. But still not final solution because it’s several other people that attended same event will be yearning for attention of the moderator at same time.
So best way I always advice to those that can afford it is to get a mentor. Find a place to get one-on-one coach.
However, here is the summary of it all.
To make money online from nigeria – here is the basics:
1. Average computer literacy is needed – ability to on and shut down computer. Ability move mouse, press keyword, use few other applications like microsoft word.
2. Use of internet – ability to connect on internet depending on the service you are using. Launch internet explorer. Access websites. And master use of mouse.

But just like Adegbite said, do, please, remember that the great city, Rome, wasn’t built in 1 day. The lesson here is that one needs to learn how to travel the road, without hitting the road bumps. Start from somewhere, build up yourself gradually and diligent, without looking back. FOCUS and PERSISTENCE are the keywords here (abeg don’t research them ooo – just kidding, bro). affiliate marketing is about the cheapest online biz to initiate for a newbie but requires a great deal of work. But anyone can make a lot of money if he does what lateef’s guidelines above suggest. But in addition, find a way to prove to your reader that you know enouygh about that product you are promoting. that is the secret of super affiliates. In simple terms Pre-sell and don’t sell.
