My Internet Business Sequence

New born baby don’t wake up and start working overnight – ABOMINATION! There is walking process ordained by God almighty. If he try to walk without crawling there is going to be trouble.

The scriptures didn’t tell us that God create heaven, earth and creatures same day, despite the fact the almighty can. Imagine what will happen if you wake up tomorrow and within hours it’s night again. It is all about process, stages and sequence.

What is sequence?

According to dictionary.com SEQUENCE means;

1. the following of one thing after another; succession.
2. order of succession: a list of books in alphabetical sequence.
3. a continuous or connected series: a sonnet sequence.
4. something that follows; a subsequent event; result; consequence.

To have a successful internet business there is a sequence to follow. All elements must be in place before you can think of success. I’ve come across newbie marketer asking me questions like; how to collect payment on internet and cash it here in Nigeria. Many of this people don’t have anything in place already. They just jump other important elements of the sequence.

That is why many are complete failure. You don’t need paypal or any other means of receiving payment online if you don’t have other thing in place yet, except if it’s possible for you to start and move your car without living your sitting room.

You can’t put cart before the horse and expect success. Most internet marketing courses, seminars and training programs won’t work for you until you do thing in right order.

It all start with access to computer and internet. As you can see I don’t say your computer and internet access. Why because it can be yours or anybody’s. What is important is that you have access to computer that is connected on internet.

The same thing goes with the idea. You can buy, borrow or steal. I don’t advice the stealing ideas however, you can copy existing idea and add your own twist to it.

You need finished product. You can create it or help others to promote their product (affiliate marketing).

Then you need domain name, hosting service, and website. From the diagram you can see type of webpages that makes up complete site system. First one is opt-in page for list building. Next is salespage for selling your product. Then you have upsell page where you offer customer something else to buy. You can also offer something extra to buy on thank you page or just give them option to download product they just buy. Your blog page or content page will be used in pre-selling your website visitors.

It is when you have the system above in place that you can now thing of how to accept payment. Though if you are an affiliate you don’t have to worry yourself about this element because the affiliate company will either be paying sending your check, money order, direct/wire transfer or paypal.

Get traffic to the website, build list, sell your product, convert good number of visitors to buyers, sell the project or repeat the process.
