Today while thinking about short “tips of the day” to send to you, I got call from godaddy.com. If you are a complete internet beginner you may not have heard about godaddy.com before now.

“GoDaddy.com is the world’s No. 1 ICANN-accredited domain name registrar based in USA.”

They cal-in to inform me that one of their customer has an immediate interest in one of our domain name. They want to make an offer for the domain name I bought few months ago just for $9.25.

If the deal works out well I should be getting over $10,000 for domain name I bought for $9.25 less than 4months ago. I doubt I can get such return from stock market or penny stock. lol

Buying and selling of domain name is one of the easiest way to make money online legitimately as a nigerian living in nigeria. You can even turn this to small business which may end up turning you to next internet millionaires.

You may want to know how to get into this business. It is as simple as getting your prepaid debit card or credit card from a nigerian bank like www.zenithbank.com and check out website like www.007name.com or www.namecheap.com, buy domain name and wait for buyer. It is no more news that poor internet service is one of the major problem Nigerian internet users (either for business or personal use) are fighting with everyday. Imaging waiting several minutes to load a webpage. If you use dial up services like multilinks and starcomms you know what I am saying.

We have to all agree on something here; dial up services are not meant for heavy browsers. So don’t expect them to be speedy.  That is the way it is in other part of the world. It is just that it’s a bit worst here.

8 years ago I read in Nigeria’s no1 motivation and business opportunity magazine - Success Digest Magazine (now Success Digest Extra) that their will be a seminar on how to tap into internet opportunity. That was the first time I heard about ‘internet’. I don’t know what it is then.

The “secrets” of business and life success lies in what I choose to call “the learning curve”. Many have called it what it pleases them but whichever way you choose to look at it, Understanding this concept will help you succeed in whatever you choose to do.

According to Wikipedia, the term learning curve refers to a relationship between the duration of learning or experience and the resulting progress.

If you are reading this I suppose you understand what internet marketing means and you may want to ask, What do I mean by “the learning curve” and how does that apply to internet Marketing? I will explain all that in a moment but before I do, I will like you to bear in mind that this article is not to scare you but to get you informed and prepared.

Now talking about the subject matter of the day, “Internet Marketing: The learning curve”. I will be right to say that anyone desiring to build a lasting business system online need to realize that he or she can not do without the learning. This is where the learning curve comes in. 

This is the magic concept that differentiates the successful internet marketer from mere dreamers. If you are to see progress or become successful then you should be considering what you have to learn, the experience you could gain over time as you put to practice what you are learning.

Becoming successful in internet marketing, you have to brace up to the fact that you need to learn a lot and keep improving yourself as you gain better experience with practice. Also bear in mind that there is no fixed learning curve with internet marketing as there are bound to be changes. It’s an ongoing process.
