Last few days here has been the most interesting for me because I have been buying myself series of gifts. I think I deserve it. It all started last Saturday when we visit PcOutlet in ‘The Palms Shopping Center’ to shop for a new hp pavilion notebook for myself. We later visit numetro media store in ‘The Palms’ shopping center as well where I bought lots of books and foreign niche specific magazine.

Numetro’s bookshop is a good place to be. I discovered a lot of niche markets just browsing their book shelves. I was overwhelmed with amazing opportunities I discovered so I decided to visit Numetro media store in SilverBird Galleria Victoria Island on sunday. I didn’t regret my decision.

If you are still thinking of niche market to target online visit numetro media today. You will get a lot of brilliant market ideas.

After blessing myself with lots of gift (books, latest online course, new notebook) that worth about $4,000 I started thinking of what to give you as  xmas gift but can’t really come up with something better until now.  I want to give you something that will make a difference in your life and business come 2008.

Lots of people have several reasons for not starting their business. I once said in one of my interview with SDE early this year that you may have several reasons for not getting started, it is not important. What is important is that you come up with at least one single reason why you must do it.

So at the first millionaire in training seminar series which we held few weeks ago, we are compiled top 17 reasons participants listed as the reason why they have not start their own business both online and offline.

While the year is gradually going to an end, we want us all to review these reason why’s and possibly come up with solutions.

2008 - First 100 days Challenge

Building team of nigerian internet marketing millionaires in 100 days.

Two days ago while discussing with one of my US based Internet marketing multi-millionaire mentor about our new mastermind he requested for our group target for first 100 days in 2008.

Since our first group meeting is still few days away, I told him I will contact him after our meeting. He rejected my excuse. He said that I should come up with a figure that is realistic for all members within first 100 days using the same system that I have already.

Here we go - I suggested $240,000 as our target.

Actually, he said that is a bit low but I explain to him that some of the members are complete beginner.

So guys, we now of a challenge for the first 100 days of 2008.

It is $240,000 challenge - In other word we are having N30,000,000 (million naira) challenge.

Are you ready for this challenge.

What this means is that within first 100days our individual earnings and group earnings added together must reach $240,000 (N30Million naira).

This is a big challenge but I believe 100% that is achievable.

Why am I sending this message to everybody.

Three reasons -

1. One thing that has worked for me in past is making my targets public. It has afftected my performance, efficiency and result alot in the past. Knowing that its a must I achieve it or face the consequence.

2. To let other members know as well that hundreds of other nigerians now knows about their target for the first 100 days. It will surely have same effect.

3. To motivate 6 more people that like challenge like this to come in and be part of us.

What this challenge means is that after the first one hundred days this mastermind group will be a million naira group. Which automatically means members are millionaires.

This is not a promise. It is a challenge. And I know we will even surpass it.

Those that have been to our office in past few days must understand that 2008 is going to be our best year ever.

PODCAST: A TOOL FOR THE NEXT LEVEL

Are you ready to take your business to the next level?. There are two prerequisites to fulfil before taking your business to the next level.

The following are some ways:-

1) LECTURES / BUSINESS TUTORIALS

Podcast can be used for sell your expertise to the world based on your knowledge of your discipline and acquired skills. For example, I met a guy online that specializes in real estate that uses this medium to get to his subscribers across the globe charging $30 per series. Can you feel that?.

2) INTERVIEW

Podcast can be used to interview experts in your field or discipline and you package it for your paid subscriber as explain above. Using this tool, you are not restricted to territorial boundaries i.e you can be in Nigeria and be interviewing someone in UK.

Recently an Internet Business adviser just released a book that is rocking marketing world and he used podcast to interview a big time internet business maven from different locations.

3) TALK SHOWS

Podcast can be used for talk shows series, I know a guy online; Clay Nelson that uses this platform for his motivational talk show weekly. Like you used to have on radio programme that you can be anchor person coordinating your programme using this tool.

Are your plans for the year clearly written? Are you repositioning your mind for your internet marketing adventure?

While you are trying to put your plans together, I will advices you put into considerations what I will be sharing with you today. It will go a long way in helping you draft a plan that will suits your lifestyle and is 100% realistic.

 Friend, if we are to achieve our online goals next year, like the author of the story we looked at last week rightly said, we need the all-important tunnel vision. Developing a tunnel vision helps us to focus our minds on what we have set out to achieve and to stay away from side attractions that will not add or complement our goals.

Someone once said that “the mind is the placenta that holds the seeds that has been sown into it until the time of delivery”. One of the hardest things I have come to discover is that what most human beings find it difficult to do is been able to programme their minds. As sad as this may be, if you don’t have a programme for your mind, you will follow through with someone else’s mind directly or indirectly.

This is the reason why a lot of people are mere dreamers; they keep trying one thing or the other on the internet simply because they want to get rich quick. Instead of investing time and money on looking and staying with a system that works, they keep investing the same time and money on every possible opportunity online. How can they do otherwise when they hold no vision of where they are going?
 

Becoming and staying successful online has a lot to do with your ability to operate an open- mind that is focused and consistent in action. This you can’t do without a plan. You need a plan to follow through in actions as well as to stay focus. With your plans in place, you can easily see what change(s) you can allow. You will not be carried away by any sort of business opportunity that has nothing to do with your vision. They either fit in or you discard them.
 

In summary, keep an open- mind with a vision that you have mapped out a plan for. Stay focused with consistent actions. With this you will stay motivated because you know what actions you need to take and what doing them will fetch you. Next year is your year. When I met the director of fastecash.com at last SDEA award program he said; “this is your year”. At first I find it a bit difficult to accept. But looking back to lots of wonderful things that have been going on in my life since the beginning of the year, I accepted this and thank God almighty for making me a ‘REAL’ success.

Are you ready to become a REAL success in year 2008?

If I am right let me introduce you to one of the book author that I admire a lot. His name is J.C Maxwell.

In his best selling book “Failing Forward” he wrote:

“I believe that to succeed, a person needs only four things. You can remember them by thinking of the world REAL.

Relationships: The greatest skill needed for success is the ability to get along with other people. It impacts every aspect of a person’s life. Your relationships make you or they break you.

Equipping: One of the most significant lessons I’ve learned is that those closest to you determine the level of your success. If your dreams are great, you achieve them only with a team.

Attitude: People’s attitudes determine how they approach life day to day. Your attitude, more than your aptitude, will determine your altitude.

Leadership: Everything rises and falls on leadership. If you desire to lift the lid on your personal effectiveness, the only way to do it is to increase your leadership skills.”

Isn’t that a wonderful definition of REAL by J.C Maxwell?

In my home two, our elders usually say that you can’t sweep floor with a stick of broom – you need bunch of it to sweep successfully and conveniently.

Most of my breakthroughs, success, and achievements this year ‘2007’ can be traced to a simple but very powerful principle. The most successful business leaders in history - Carnegie, Ford and Rockefeller - have used this principle. Thomas Edison used this principle. Mahatma Gandhi used this principle. Dr Sunny Ojeagbese used this principle. Jimoh Ibrahim, Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Bishop David Oyedepo, and many more Nigerians are still using this principle.

The principle is called; MASTERMIND GROUP.

Napoleon Hill wrote about this principle in his classic best-seller, “Think and Grow Rich”, Chapter 9. According to Hill, such Alliances have been the basis of every great fortune in history.

What is a Master Mind Group?

The Master Mind Principle involves coordinating efforts of two or more persons in order to create a synergistic environment that leads to the attainment of specific objectives. Mastermind groups could be formed for specific business objectives or for personal goals.

In such a group, like-minded people come together to attain a common definite objective. The group determines early on what each member would bring to the table and what he or she would get out of it. The members establish a plan and schedule for each member to make specific contribution. The keys to success of such groups are the definiteness of purpose and plan.

What it has to do with business planning?

You may ask that and I think a lot about this. The primary purpose of planning is to think through a particular endeavor. When you are planning for a business you need to understand all the issues involved. You need to get feedback on your ideas, see your ideas from different perspectives and brainstorm. For planning you find out about similar business situations and glean lessons from them. You seek expert advice on specific issues. You try to avoid the mistakes that were made when similar initiatives were undertaken.

A properly formed mastermind group with specific purpose of business planning provides this and much more. It brings together a think tank with experience of launching similar business endeavors, with access to resources needed for the initiative and helps you get moving forward when you get stuck or get mental blocks. It gives you food for thought and keeps recharging your intellectual batteries.

Master Mind Principle is a great concept. We all do it in one form or other, though for short duration. They are more effective when they are organized formally. They are also a critical success factor for many successful people and there is no reason that you should not be one of those successful people.

Welcome, to the last month of this year. We have got just few days to say goodbye to this year for life. Did you set any goals at the beginning of the year? What are your results? Whether good or bad, you must have a result. How do you feel about what you might have achieved and what you have not?

 As the year comes to an end, there is need for us to take stock of our lives. Looking at the things we have done in the past’s months, can we honestly admit to ourselves the things that we did wrong? What could have been the cause? Perhaps we missed it from the start.   

Last week, I remembered rounding up with a promise of sharing with you another story to help illustration the importance of our minds, our password to making money on the internet. The story though has been shared here before today; will help our understanding of what we have been discussing for some time now. Now, looking at what the author of the story did at the slightest discovery of every new idea, opportunity or business he might had read from a book or the so called “how to make money” materials, books, CDs etc, just as we have today. He abandons whatever he was into and moves into what he had just discovered.

 Friend, if u read through that post, you will find out that the author himself has helped pin point the lesson here as lack of “tunnel Vision”. Let’s dwell on this for today. If you are going to make money on the internet, you need to understand that you will need to develop a tunnel vision approach for it.  

This is where you will need to put your mind to work and stop those crazy searches for that next big thing, Make up your mind on what you actually wants to do. Stop every single worry you might have about not having to find such opportunity again. You are not about to make any money with it and will never make any good money from it in the near future. 

Here is the good news, you will make as much as you want to make from the internet but you will need to go through a personal transformation. Stop cutting short your plans, only to start something new. Make up your mind on what to concentrate your energy, time and resources on.  

Concentrate your effort on things that complement each other. Forget this “overnight success” thing. It takes good effort to make money on the internet and to keep it flowing. Without been told  I know you are not just interested in making money just once but will rather want it to keep flowing. If that’s true, you will need to take time to look at how you can make changes. Remember the saying “first within then without”.
